Description
Birch polypore, diced and dried, wild-harvested. Hand-sorted and gently dried.
The birch polypore grows only on birch trees. It can be recognised by its smooth, light brown upper surface and its pure white, corky flesh. In northern and eastern Europe, the firm flesh was traditionally also used as a razor strop and as a substitute for tinder.
