Description
Turkey tail, dried and ground. Wild-harvested, hand-sorted and gently dried, then milled into a fine, pale powder.
Turkey tail is the most common polypore in central Europe. The thin, wavy fruiting bodies grow like roof tiles on dead wood of broadleaf trees and show concentric rings ranging from white through ochre and brown to bluish grey. The German name comes from this pattern.
